We came alive after a couple of days in Cairns and started some day tours.
The Aussies know how to show you a good time.
Here we are riding the train up the mountains to Kuranda.
It is a 100 years old and something to see, waterfalls, rainforests.
Now that you are on top of a mountains, guess what, you have to come down.
So down we come in a Sky rail for 10 KM. Twice. Why twice, cause at the half way point you can get out and walk in the rainforest. Well they let me lead on the return, and I took the up tram. Up we went one more time. We really got a nice look around.
After that thrill we met at the Tjapukai Village and learned all about the aborigional culture.
We threw spears, boomarangs, learned how to play a didgeridoo and painted boomerages. We also learned about Bush tucker (food) and tasted some. No grubs, ugh.
